Your tour begins at Brickell Station. Don’t just walk; interacts with urban furniture designed for rest. The “secret” is the Oolite Room, a meditation space built from native limestone where the temperature naturally drops 2 or 3 degrees. Don’t miss the basketball courts and the urban gym, but save your camera for the Pollinator Garden, where evening light filters between concrete columns creating geometric patterns perfect for architectural photography.
Level: Platinum. This is possibly the safest area in Miami. The park has a program of “Ambassadors” (identifiable by their yellow shirts) who patrol the route. We recommend staying in the designated lanes (clear separation between cyclists and pedestrians) to avoid speed accidents.
Health Tip: Although there is structural shade, Miami’s humidity is intense; use the free hydration stations located near the basketball court.
Inclusion grade: Gold. The design is a world benchmark for universal accessibility. The entire pavement is smooth concrete without joints, eliminating vibrations for wheelchairs. Each intersection has minimal slope ramps and tactile signage.
