Begin your ascent to the rooftop (The Vista) and observe the recreation of the Everglades ecosystems under the Miami sky. Descend through the levels of the aquarium until you reach the ground floor (The Deep), where the immense lens of the Oculus reveals the majesty of the sharks and manta rays swimming above your head. Enter the Frost Planetarium, an 8K dome that transports you through nebulae and distant galaxies with hyper-realistic clarity. Explore interactive exhibits on renewable energy and the human body, where tactile technology invites you to discover the secrets of matter. It is an immersion in “Natural Intelligence”, a journey where water and stars meet in an architecture designed for amazement.
Level: Safe (Staffed/Educational). The museum is an extremely safe and familiar environment. It has trained personnel in each exhibition and state-of-the-art surveillance systems. Please pay attention to children on the rooftop areas (The Vista) due to viewing railings. The planetarium rooms are dark and require sitting during the performance; There are clearly marked emergency exits and support staff for any needs during the screening.
Grade: Gold. Frost Science is an inclusive design model. It features multiple high-capacity elevators that connect all levels of the aquarium and exhibits. All rooms, including the planetarium, have spaces reserved for wheelchairs. The museum offers assistive listening devices and braille guides upon request.
