Walk the winding path that separates the dunes from the iconic **Ocean Drive**, where the air is infused with saltpeter and the energy of Art Deco skyscrapers. Under the shade of the Royal Palms, watch the skaters and athletes who define the rhythm of South Beach, or relax in the areas of restored dunes that act as intelligent natural barriers. At dusk, witness the hotel towers light up, creating a neon garden that reflects Miami’s golden history. It is a perfect transition space between asphalt and sand, where each palm tree and each designer bench tells a story of democratic luxury and technical beauty.
Level: Safe (Public/Family). Lummus Park is a high visibility area with constant patrolling. It is recommended to be careful with personal belongings in beach areas. The park is well lit at night thanks to the proximity of Ocean Drive. During the 2026 World Cup, there will be additional information and assistance centers to ensure the safety of international visitors.
Grade: Gold. The park has a main paved path that runs along its entire length, facilitating mobility in wheelchairs. There are multiple beach access ramps (“mats”) that allow you to get close to the seashore in an inclusive way. Public restrooms are adapted and strategically located along Ocean Drive.
Intersection of 10th Street and Ocean Drive. It is the perfect point of view to capture the symmetry between the park and the most iconic hotels in Miami Beach. From here, the perspective of the palm trees aligned with the pastel facades creates an image that encapsulates the visual identity of the city.
