Climb the polished concrete stairs to the outdoor terraces and let yourself be enveloped by the shadow of the immense wooden eaves. Walk under the Columns of Vegetation, cylinders of plants that hang from the ceiling and filter sunlight, creating a forest effect suspended over the asphalt. Explore contemporary art galleries, where large windows frame Biscayne Bay like just another work of art. Descend to the shore area and feel the breeze flowing freely through the museum’s open structure. It is an immersion in “Architectural Serenity”, where each corner offers a new perspective on the relationship between man, art and the sea.

Ferré Park, the environment is safe to walk at any time of day. It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes to explore both the interior galleries and the extensive outdoor terraces. The museum is monitored by cameras and personnel in each room to guarantee the integrity of the works and the safety of visitors.
Grade: Gold. The design of Herzog & de Meuron prioritized universal accessibility. The museum has gentle ramps, wide elevators and automatic doors. All galleries and outdoor seating areas are fully wheelchair accessible. Free wheelchairs are available at the reception desk on a first-come, first-served basis. The bathrooms and cafe are fully adapted under ADA regulations.
The East Terrace next to the Hanging Gardens. Sit on one of the wooden benches on the outdoor terrace that faces the bay, right next to the densest columns of vegetation. From here you can capture the contrast between the clean geometry of the roof and the organic fall of the plants, with the cruise ships on the horizon. It is the point of maximum visual peace where architecture becomes a garden.
