Weeping willows caress the surface, creating green tunnels perfect for walking along the towpaths. It is a peaceful escape that demonstrates how the industrial arteries of the past can be transformed into ecological corridors for the human mind.

The route begins at Browning’s Pool, the wide junction where the canals meet. From here, you’ll begin walking along the east path (Regent’s Canal Towpath). You’ll pass under wrought iron bridges, passing dozens of historic barges.
Along the way, you will see the local waterfowl community and cross natural tunnels formed by the trees of the neighboring mansions. As you move towards London Zoo, the architecture becomes wilder, integrating the canal with pure nature.
Green Zone However, watch out for cyclists on the towpath, as it is a shared path and some go at high speed.
Inclusion Grade: Silver. The main trail is flat and paved, wheelchair accessible. However, some historic bridge approach ramps may have slight cobblestones or short steep inclines.
Just after the first bridge onto Regent’s Canal, stop next to the “Lisson Grove” moorings. The perfect frame is when you manage to capture a boat painted blue or green next to the full reflection of the weeping willow in the still water of the canal.
