The standard itinerary is 7 kilometers. We will quickly pass through the Patio de la Piña and the Pío Clementino Museum before entering the narrow “Via of the Three Galleries” (Chandeliers, Tapestries, Maps). Here the flow of people is continuous.
We will descend through Raphael’s Rooms (pure Renaissance Art) to the oak doors where the groups are held. You will begin the descent to the Sistine Chapel, an environment where cameras are prohibited, and you will end by leaving towards Saint Peter’s Square.

Dress Rules: Shoulders and knees strictly covered or you will be denied access. Be careful with valuables in the crowded Map Gallery; carry the backpack in front.

Map Gallery (Middle of the passage). Here the gold of the vaulted ceiling collides with the lapis lazuli of the immense 16th century geographical maps painted on the walls. Look to frame the hallway using the windows to your left to create a symmetrical tunnel of illuminated gold.
